# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It transforms three simple ingredients into something that tastes like a beach vacation in a glass
  • The frozen watermelon creates the perfect slushy texture without watering it down like regular ice would
02 -
  • If your watermelon wasn't frozen solid, add a handful of regular ice but reduce the coconut milk by a couple tablespoons to prevent watering it down
  • The texture is best right after blending, so don't try to make these ahead or they'll separate and lose that perfect slushy consistency
03 -
  • Chill your glasses in the freezer for at least 15 minutes before serving to keep your slushie colder longer
  • Use very ripe watermelon at the sweet spot between firm and slightly soft for the best flavor payoff
